Empoli – Roma 1-2: Dybala and Abraham scored the double

Roma defeated Empoli 2-1 on Matchday 6 of Serie A. The guests returned to winning ways and achieved 13 points.

The Giallorossi opened the scoring in the 17th minute. Paulo Dybala was outside the box on the receiving side of the ball and an excellent shot sent him into the net to make it 1-0.

The hosts equalized in the 43rd minute. Stojanovic was bundled into the penalty area, Brandinelli headed home to make it 1-1.

Roma took the lead again when Tammy Abraham scored a penalty at the far post from a Dybala assist. In the 80th minute, Pellegrini had a chance for a third goal when Pellegrini executed a penalty and the ball hit the post.
