Serie A
Fiorentina – Lazio 0-3: Roma’s season after Vlachovic
Lazio defeated the harmless Fiorentina in the absence of Dusan Vlahovic and lifted them off the top of the table with a 3-0 win in Tuscany.
Florence and Lazio were level and even with the “violas” who had less play, but Mauricio Sari’s team clinched a great win 3-0 at “Artemio Frankie” and overtook him in the European race after 24 Serie A games.
The game was even in the first half, with the Violas opting for Arthur Cabral as a goalscorer, replacing Dusan Vlahovic at the front of the attack. The Brazilian striker needed time to adapt and Lazio didn’t give him time in the second half. Sergei Milinkovic Savic and Ciro Immobile found their way into the net and ‘secured’ the win, while in the end Cristiano Biraghi scored an own goal.
