Sampdoria is ready to pass into the hands of the Qatari royal family
Ready to change a page in its history, as a member of the Qatari royal family, Sampdoria is willing to buy the majority stake in the Genoa team along with some of his associates.
THE Samdoria is about to change its ownership as a member of the Qatari royal family named Khalid Faleh Al Thani is ready to buy the Genovese, according to Italian media.
He is joined by film producer Francesco Di Silvio and former footballer Ivano Bonetti. It should be noted that while Al Thani is a member of the Qatari royal family, he is not part of the Paris Saint-Germain “branch” of directors.
Sampdoria has struggled financially of late as the team’s current owner handed over the reins of the club after being arrested for fraudulent bankruptcy in December 2021.
