Risk for Menian to be out for 2-3 weeks
Mike Meignan suffered a blow in France’s Nations League game against Austria and, according to “Parisien”, threatens to eliminate his calf injury for the next three weeks.
Parents’ sins spoil children, say the sages, but in the case of Mike Menian one can certainly paraphrase and add France and Milan to the equation.
The veteran goalkeeper was injured during Thursday night’s France Nations League game against Austria and was substituted at half-time (replaced by Areola). The tests he underwent brought bad news, especially for his team Milan.
According to a report by Parisien, Menian has suffered a minor calf injury and is expected to be out for the next 2 to 3 weeks. As a result, Menian will miss Milan’s games in addition to the Blues’ final game in this year’s Nations League against Denmark (Mandada has already been called up in his place).
If the diagnosis is confirmed, he will have to sit out the games against Empoli and Chelsea, and his participation in the league derby against Juventus on October 8 is also in doubt.
