The first footballer to become a Panini sticker, in 1961, died Tuesday at the age of 82.

The Inter captain, international Italian midfielder and later coach of several teams, Bruno BolkiHe breathed his last Tuesday afternoon at the age of 82.

Bolki went down in history not only because of his sporting achievements, but also because his image was featured on the first sticker ever printed by Panini in 1961.

The Italian was only 21 at the time, but he was already captain of Inter, with whom he won the 1962/63 championship. In November 1963 he left for Verona and did not celebrate the “Nerazzuri” Champions Cup while he was in Atalanta in 1964 and in Turin in 1965 where he stayed until 1970.

He retired to “Granata” and was coach from 1971 to 2007, completing a stint in Serie A with Cesena, Bari, Pisa and Messina.
