Moratti: “Roma can be the surprise of the season”
Former Inter president Massimo Moratti seemed impatient for the Nerazzurri’s upcoming clash with Roma at the Meazza but expressed the opinion that Mourinho’s side could be the surprise of the season.
Jose Mourinho wrote pages of glory as Inter won the treble in his second and final season with Milan in 2010 and one of the people who drank water to his name during that period was Massimo Moratti.
Despite the fact that 12 years have passed since then, Moratti’s appreciation and respect for the person and class of the Portuguese coach remains high, with the former Nerazzurri president expressing the opinion that Mourinho’s Roma can be the surprise in of this year’s Serie A.
“I feel like losing at Scudetto last year frustrated Inter. They need something to shake them up and get them back on track.”
Roma are definitely in better form, they are a team that amuses the world with their football and can be the surprise of the season.”stressed Moratti ahead of Inter – Roma to add regarding Mourinho:
“His characteristics are always the same, professionalism and attention to detail. Mourinho has the ambition to do better compared to last season.
As for Dybala, he’s a great player and Inter fans would have liked him here, but the club made different decisions.”
