Conte is the main candidate to replace Allegri at Juventus in 2023
According to Italian media, Antonio Conte is the front-runner set to replace Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus in the summer of 2023.
Massimiliano Allegri is ‘on the ropes’ due to Juventus’ poor run this season and names are already being heard for his replacement for 2023, Andrea Agnelli stressed in recent statements that any decision will then be made on the team bench.
According to the Italian Gazzetta dello Sport, the top candidate is Antonio Conte, although his contract with Tottenham runs until the summer of this year.
The Italy coach, who has been successful on the Bianconeri bench in the past, has reconciled with Andrea Agnelli as the split between the two sides came in the middle of preparation, an event that turned their relationship into a ‘block of ice’.
Tottenham managers want to keep Conte in London but at the moment there have been no negotiations between the two sides. Through his comments, however, he emphasizes that this will happen at the right time, while labeling the scenarios linking him to Juventus as ‘disrespectful’.
