Atalanta moved past the Lazio defeat to stay top of Serie A with a 2-0 loss at Empoli.
The defeat to Lazio in Bergamo proved a weak brace for Atalanta, who remain alive after a 2-0 draw in the hunt for Napoli and the Serie A title race embolization for the 12th game.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s team set the pace from the start in Tuscany and took the lead in the 32nd minute through Hans Hattebur.
