Turin – Milan 2-1: Crash landing in Piedmont and loss of place
Torino defeated AC Milan 2-1 in Piedmont, dropping them a place in the Serie A table.
Milan’s four-game winning streak and 17-game unbeaten run away in Serie A (the longest in the Big 5 leagues) ended Turinwhich has prevailed 2-1 in Piedmont for round 12 and lost a place in the general classification.
The “Bulls” found two goals in two minutes at the end of the 1st part with Kofi Zizi and Aleksei Mirandchuk in a shared game, but this timing made the difference. The Rossoneri never recovered from those two goals, although Serginho Dest, Ante Rembic and Charles de Quetelare came on at half-time.
The game remained even and Milan only found a goal with Junior Mesias after a mistake in the home defense. In the final minutes he failed to particularly threaten Vanja Milinković Savić’s goal and the 2–1 result knocked them down to 3rd place overall, removing them from Napoli.
