Roma 1-1 Torino: Matic saved the point at 90+4′

Roma failed to win again, this time against Torino at the Olimpico, but avoided the worst and drew 1-1 thanks to Nemanja Matic in the 4th minute of injury time.

Roma found a goal in stoppage time, but after the draw they remained without a win for the third game in a row 1-1 with the Turin at the “Olimpico” on Matchday 15 of Serie A, which puts him far from the Champions League places.


The ‘Bulls’ locked eyes with Jose Mourinho’s players, who looked tired and uninspired in creation. The odds were slim and if one team needed to break the “white” tie, it was the visiting team.

In the 55th minute, Carol Linetti scored for Torino, forcing the Portuguese coach to bring on Paulo Dybala after his injury. The Argentine striker did not help the Giallorossi avoid defeat, nor did Andrea Belotti, who missed a penalty in the 90+2 against his former club. ANemanja Matic made sure of that, scoring in the 4th minute of added time to make it 1-1.

Two goals from Empala Enzola gave Spezia a 2-1 away win over bottom side Verona Dimitris Nikolaou came on as a substitute in the 82nd minute and took over the captain’s armband.
