Moises Kean scored two more goals to lead Juventus to a 3-0 win over Lazio that puts them ahead of Roma in 3rd place in Serie A.

Moises Kean emerges as the hero of Juventus counterattack, scoring two goals to win 3-0 against Lazio in Turin, overtook them in the table and finished 3rd in Serie A after 15 games.

The Italy forward has scored five goals in the last five games in all competitions, scoring exactly half of the ten goals scored by the ‘old lady’ in those games.

Constantly on the ball, Lazio struggled to break through a three-stop home defense, with Juan Cuadrado and Filip Kostic on the wings unable to count on providing much help at the back. Despite all this, Maurizio Sarri’s side found it difficult to really threaten Wojciech Szczesny’s goal and have mostly had hapless finals, even without the injured Ciro Immobile.

In the 43rd minute, Adrien Rabiot made a steal and set Ken up for a counterattack, who lobbed the onrushing Ivan Provendel. At the beginning of the second half, Ken was in the right place at the right time and got a rebound on a counterattack after the Italian goalkeeper intervened in a shot by Arkadius Milik to make it 2-0.

Lazio tried to react, with Sarri throwing at Matias Vesino and Luis Alberto, but failed to improve his team’s image. The most influential substitute of the game was Federico Chiesa, who set up Milik’s goal to win in the 89th minute.
