Milan are looking to continue another season with Zlatan Ibrahimovic despite turning 41 in October, with Sportmediaset insisting the Rossoneri will offer him a pay cut.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract at Milan expires in four months but that doesn’t mean the two sides will part ways.

Despite the fact that the Swede will be 41 next October, the people of the Milan club want to start the new season with him and, according to the Italian website Sportmediaset, already have in mind the proposal that will be made to him.

This will not be related to his current income, which is €7 million a year, with this outlet’s report stating that the Rossoneri are ready to offer him €3 million as a fixed amount plus a bonus that will be linked to the number his Participations and the goals he will score.

In such a case, Imbra could earn up to €5m a year with the Milan administration wanting to ‘protect’ on their side as Ibrahimovic has caused several injury problems in recent years.
