Tudor: ‘Mourinho is the No1 manager and Roma have a Champions League squad’
Igor Tudor spoke in the best of terms about Verona’s next opponents in Serie A, with the Panos Retsos side’s manager claiming, among other things, that Roma have the front bench Jose Mourinho.
Roma come from consecutive negative results (draws against Genoa and Sassuolo in LaLiga and defeat in the Cup against Inter), but this fact is not enough to reassure Verona.
This was fully understood by Igor Tudor’s press conference on Thursday afternoon (17/2), with the Croatian in view of Saturday’s match against the Romans at the “Olimpico” (19/2, 19:00, COSMOTE SPORT 9 HD and LIVE by Sportish) that the Veronese opponent is extremely dangerous.
“Roma are a tough opponent, their coach is number 1 on the bench. They have a squad for the Champions League or close.
I expect a difficult game that will give us a lot of motivation.stressed the former PAOK coach, adding to Mourinho’s recent complaints about refereeing and whether he is concerned:
“It’s always nice to talk about the coaches, but it’s also the players who are called upon to change what each coach prepares.
It’s an honor to face such a coach. “There are many elements in a coaching job, one of which is communicating with the players and Mourinho is at the forefront of that.”
