Juventus: Chiellini’s twin brother kept “double books” according to prosecutors

Claudio Chiellini is emerging as a key figure in prosecutors’ investigations into Juventus’ accounts after allegedly irregularly calculating gaps to be filled.

Details that have emerged from the prosecutor’s investigation into Juventus’ accounting practices also involve former players at the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of them and it is possible that he will be summoned again by the Turin prosecutor’s office and will eventually produce documents revealing undeclared pay slips of the “Bianconeri”.

It seems certain that if a team-mate knew of her, it was his then-captain Giorgio Chiellini, since according to prosecutors and Gazzetta dello Sport, his twin brother Claudio was in charge of Juventus’… creative accounting.

Claudio Chiellini is not under investigation but, according to the filing, he acted as the club’s unofficial accountant, keeping track of all expenses and calculating the gaps to be filled through ‘fake’ balance sheets the club has allegedly presented over the last few years.

According to records made during investigations and document seizures, there is an email communication between Claudio Chiellini and Federico Cherubini and Fabio Paratici, two former directors of the club, always with the same title: “Corrective Maneuver”.

His role on the org chart was in charge of loan players until July 2021 when he left to become director of football at Pisa.

It is reminded that Juventus is under separate investigation for irregularities related to capital gains from 2019-2021 and four months of payroll irregularities during the earlier coronavirus period.

Gennaro Gattuso compared Kvitsa Kvarachelia to the legendary George Best, but also spoke highly of Victor Osimen and referred to Napoli’s encounter with Milan in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Napoli are by far the hottest team in Europe’s top five leagues since the start of the season. Luciano Spalletti’s side are enjoying a 23-2-2 record and are galloping towards the Scudetto with 11 games remaining before the season, already 19 points adrift of the second Lazio final.

Of course, a large part of the success of the Partenopei’s great season is due to the spacemen Kvaratthelia – Osimen, with the former being involved in 30 goals of his team in Serie A and the Champions League (14 goals – 16 assists), the latter having the best season in the Championship and already has 21 goals in 23 league games.

Both the Georgian and Nigerian have earned the respect of the entire sports-loving public and praise has poured in from footballers, with the latest to publicly express his admiration for them being former Napoli coach Gennaro Gattuso.

“When I see Kvarachelia it’s like seeing George Best again. He’s doing amazing things with incredible speed. Napoli are a team that I’m really excited about, they play dream football.” Gattuso stressed in an interview he gave to radio station RadioRai1, adding:

“Osimene did well in Lille and Giudoli made a great move to bring him to Napoli. When I was there as a coach I missed him for several months through injury and his absence cost us something.”

He is very fast and has technique. But Napoli isn’t just Kvarachelia or Osimen, there’s also Lobotka, who has done his best since my time at the club.”

Referring to the Champions League draw where Napoli faced AC Milan in the quarter-finals, ‘Ringio’, who has served AC Milan both as a player and as a coach, said:

“Napoli have been playing great football for two years but the games are different in Europe. It will be an open game. It makes sense that Napoli now have a winning mentality, they play calmly and express European football.”

The game had a total of three bans, one from Lazio (90+7′ Marusic) and two from Roma (32′ Ibáñez, 90+7′ Cristante), but the nervousness and arguments didn’t stop on the pitch, but increased towards the pitch changing room.

Inter have had fierce complaints over Juventus’ Derby d’Italia winner, with Simone Inzaghi speaking out about Rabiot’s clean hand and demanding respect. Massimo Allegri’s “answer” came immediately.

It was Juventus who smiled in the Derby d’Italia, beating Inter 1-0 on matchday 27 of Serie A, but the final of the derby at the “Meatza” was very tense and the Nerazzurri celebrated the goal conceded in the 23rd minute .minute considering there was a hand control from Rabio ignoring the VAR before the ball to Kostic.

“There’s a lot of bitterness at the loss that came that way. Something very serious happened tonight. To concede a goal like that in the age of VAR is unacceptable. It’s disrespectful to say there were no pictures.”

I’ve seen 20 different images of Rabiot’s hand. There is no doubt. We demand respect”stressed the Inter coach in his statements at the end of the game, so that the “answer” would come from Allegri’s side.

“Don’t make me angry. The referees’ decisions have to be accepted, for better or for worse. There is VAR and it is objective. We are very gentlemen and we accept the arbitration decisions.”
