Milan President: “Giroud found new motivations with us that he transferred to the French national team”
Olivier Giroud propelled France into the World Cup final with his crucial goal against England, and AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni beamed with pride, declaring that the Rossoneri revitalized him.
Olivier Giroud excelled in Milan’s Scudetto victory last year and has made a strong start again this season, carrying his Serie A form to Qatar where he is aiming for the world title with France.
For his part, he is doing everything in his power to achieve this, has already scored 4 goals in the tournament (second goalscorer next to Lionel Messi, he has one less than Mbappe who has 5 goals) and the Milanese will see his contribution to the Blues to qualify for the semifinals and idolize him.
“Giro is doing very well. I think France’s qualification is very much thanks to him. We revived him a bit in Milan.” stressed the President of the Rossoneri, Paolo Scaroni, adding:
“I don’t know if I’m allowed to say it, but I have the impression that he found new motivations with us, which he transferred to his country’s national team. Let’s just say we played a small part in helping France get this far.”
