Allegri: ‘Vlahovic should get used to playing in a big team’
Massimiliano Allegri pointed to Dusan Vlahovic after the Juventus-Turin draw, arguing that he should adapt to play in a big team’s demanding program.
In their second straight Serie A game, Juventus stayed level at 1-1 while Torino snatched the point of the draw from the Italian derby.
The Old Lady remained in fourth place on 47 points, while Massimiliano Allegri bet on the team’s new signing Dusan Vlahovic after the game’s finale.
The Italian coach argued that the former Fiorentina striker needs to adapt to the new dates and get used to the demanding program of a big team like Juventus.
“It wasn’t easy with Torino, we weren’t great and we conceded goals at the best moment. As for Vlahovic, he played one game a week with Fiorentina, now one every three days.”
He has to get used to playing every three days, using technique and not always relying on strength. “Otherwise he won’t be able to do 95 ‘every three days'”, emphasizes Allegri characteristically.
