Atalanta’s president agreed to transfer 55% of the shares to a US fund
Atalanta President Antonio Percassi has reached an agreement with US investors to sell a 55 percent stake in Bergamo. The “leader” of the fund is Boston Celtics co-owner Stephen Paliouka.
Atalanta owner Antonio Percassi has reached an agreement with the American fund led by Boston Celtics co-owner Stephen Paliuca to transfer 55% of the club’s shares.
Italian media previously reported that negotiations between the two sides lasted about eight months. The two sides have negotiated the transfer of around 70-80% of the shares for 350 million euros, but Romano states that they have agreed on 55% without disclosing the price.
Antonio Percassi remains the team’s president, along with Stephen Palioukas, who will also assume the presidency of the club.
