Chelsea’s pressing prompted Inter to find the anti-Dumfries
Inter have put Denzel Dumfries at the top of their list of possible transfer candidates and Gazzetta dello Sport revealed they have already reviewed the player who could fill his gap.
Denzel Dumfries has earned £100m for Inter in his 1.5 years at Mezza following his move from Eindhoven in the summer of 2021, but the Italian club are already making plans without the Dutchman ahead of the new season.
The reason is Chelsea’s intense pressure on the Milanese for his takeover, as Inter had to make a sacrifice to move dynamically on the transfer market in the summer of 2023 and the No. 1 candidate’s move will be decided against a large sum the complex will be back.
This revelation was made by ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’, with the authoritative Italian newspaper pointing out that should Dumfries depart, the first name already on the list of possible substitutes is Tajon Buchanan, who has made a good impression the recent World Cup as a member of the Canadian national team.
