Jose Mourinho’s dismissal during Roma – Verona could result in a penalty of even 3 games from the bench for the Portuguese due to what he allegedly addressed to the match referee.

Saturday night’s game against Verona opened even more sores for Roma, who are suffering this season, as not only could they not get the three-pointer and not return to success (it remained 2-2 at Olimpico), but they also saw it from Jose Mourinho Referee Pireto was sent off with a red card shortly before the final.

The TV cameras managed to capture a special gesture to the referee, in which he pretended to be speaking on the phone, with “La Stampa” giving the audience juicy details about the words of the Romans coach.

“You were sent here for this purpose, Juventus sent you”, Mourinho yelled at the referee, according to the Torino newspaper, after which the Portuguese now faces the risk of being penalized by the bench for two or even three more games.

What is the reason why Mourinho involved Juventus in the match between Roma and Verona and accompanied his words to the captain of the game with a gesture… on the phone?

This has to do with referee Luca Pireto’s family background, whose brother Alberto worked for Juventus for eight years and most recently headed the Allianz Stadium’s finance department.

Her father, Pierluigi Pireto, was a former referee and then chief referee who was one of those convicted in 2006 for his involvement in the Calciopoli scandal, revealed by a leaked phone call (ss for this reason and the Mourinho gesture ) and which shocked Italian football and, among other things, led to the relegation of Juventus.

It is noted that 37-year-old Luca Pireto, who was targeted by Mourinho, is one of the most experienced referees in Serie A, having officiated 92 top-flight matches so far, while he has been one since last September FIFA referee.
