Sampdoria want Giakoumakis on loan with a mandatory purchase option, the international striker gave the go-ahead
According to Gianluca di Marzio, Giorgos has given the green light to Giakoumakis Sampdoria who wants him on loan from Celtic with an option to buy if they remain in Serie A.
Sampdoria wants to make him hers Giorgos Giakoumakiswith whom he recently had contact. According to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, the Greek international has already given the green light.
The Italian team is now asked to negotiate with Celtic and find the golden ratio to take over the 28-year-old, who has a contract until the summer of 2026.
Sampdoria’s proposal sees a loan deal with a mandatory purchase option if the team stays in Serie A and doesn’t get relegated. He is currently in 19th place with nine points.
This season, Giakoumakis has scored eight goals and provided one assist in 27 games with the Celtics.
