Inter – Verona 1: 0: Juventus catches an untenable Martines
Lautaro Martinez scored for the third straight game as Inter beat Verona 1-0 to move Juventus into 3rd place in Serie A.
Lautaro Martinez hit the back of the net for the third straight game as Inter were defeated 1-0 the Verona at “Giuseppe Meazza” on the 18th matchday of Serie A and got Juventus on the 3rd place in the table.
The Argentinian striker opened the scoring after just 3 minutes in Milan for Inter, who tried to take the lead with attacks mainly from the flanks. The guests caught up at the back, didn’t react aggressively and kept the “Nerazzouri” out of their area.
In the second half, Martines sent the ball back into the net, albeit at a stage where an offensive foul had preceded it. Cristian Aslani also missed a great opportunity for the home side, who ended up simply ‘turning off’ the game and taking three points that put them a point behind Milan.
