Barcelona are in talks with Inter over two high-profile swap deals

Barcelona are looking for mid-season reinforcements and are in talks with Inter Milan to sign Brozovic and Correa, alongside Kessier and Depay, according to Spanish media.

Xavi and the Barcelona players have been busy for the past 24 hours with the Spanish Super Cup, where they lifted the trophy with a 3-1 win over Real in the final in Riyadh on Sunday night, but at the same time the club’s management is busy chasing transfers.

The proof is today’s (16/01) Sport, in which the Catalan media report that the Blaugrana people are in touch with their Inter side to consider two possible moves.

One concerns the move of Memphis Depay to the Meacha (he did not play in the Spanish Super Cup) in exchange for Joaquin Correa (fourth pick in Inter attack behind Lautaro, Dzeko and Lukaku), with the two teams also talking about the possibility of exchanging Frank Kessier and Marcelo Brozovic.

The report in question even claims that the two clubs do not intend to cash in on any of the above deals going through, the example of Kessier and Brozovic being telling as they both have similar cash holdings (€6m) . per year).

Whether this smoke will ignite a bigger fire from the Catalan side remains to be seen, as ‘As’ journalist Javi Miguel reports (a few hours later) that Xavi doesn’t want to part ways with Memphis Depay in exchange for ‘Tuku’ Correa and the lawyer of Dutch striker Sebastian Letour explain:

“There are no negotiations with Inter, I dispute the reports, it’s not a possibility we’re considering.”

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds

An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.

Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.

In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.

Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
