Fetfatzidis returns to Europe for De Rossi’s SPAL
Giannis Fetfatzidis returns to Europe to continue his career. The 33-year-old international winger reaches an agreement with SPAL and is expected to sign with the Serie B club by summer 2024.
After Genoa and Chievo Verona, for which he played from 2013 to 2015, Giannis Fetfatzidis counts on the third Italian stop of his football career.
He will appear to be SPAL from Serie B, with media outlets in the neighboring country reporting that an agreement has been reached with Daniele De Rossi’s side and the player is just a breath away from signing.
According to Italian reports on Monday (16/01), the ex-Olympiakos and Aris player is already in the city of Ferrara (the team’s headquarters) waiting to undergo medical tests before signing a cooperation agreement with SPAL, which will end on 05/01 Year.
It is recalled that Fetfatzidis have been competing in Qatar for the past 2.5 years, first on behalf of Al Kor and then for Al Saiya.
