Galliani presents his duel with the Monza coach to defeat Juventus
Monza coach Raffaele Palladino received a special gift after the away win against Juventus: Adriano Galliani presented him with his historic yellow tie.
Monza became only the second team in the history of the Italian league to win 2–2 against Juventus in their first two games against Juventus (the first being Inter Milan in 1930) and the one who received the nicest gift after this success from their coach .
The reason for Raffaele Palladino, who revealed that the club’s CEO Adriano Galliani had promised to give him his historic – and lucky for him – yellow tie in the event of a win in Turin and he did so with the neophyte’s coach properties to name:
“It was all very emotional, the win, the performance and the congratulations from Allegri. I got the draw because Galliani promised me before the game in case of a positive result.
We played a great game that will go down in Monza history. It was a win in the house of a great man that we missed and it closes a circle that opened in the relevant first round game where we won and gained the upper hand.
