Juventus’s Makeni is also a Leeds player on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy for the summer.
Leeds have announced the signing of Weston McKennie from Juventus on loan until the end of the season, while the agreement between the two sides also includes a summer purchase option.
The 24-year-old USA international leaves Turin with 96 appearances in all competitions, 13 goals and five assists while celebrating winning the 2020 Italian Super Cup and the 2021 Coppa Italia.
McKennie has opted to wear the 28’s shirt and is expected to make his debut against Nottingham at the City Ground next Sunday.
