Roma’s complete rift with Zaniolo, even his pictures were removed from the dressing room
Niccolò Zaniolo is considered persona non grata at Roma after attempting to leave the ‘Olimpico’ towards Milan and Giallorossi management made sure even his name ‘disappeared’ from the dressing room.
In last season’s final, Niccolò Zaniolo became Roma’s hero after scoring the only goal in the Conference League final against Feyenoord to give the Giallorossi their first title in 14 years, but now the same player is seen as the ‘black sheep’ ‘ of the Roman camp.
Because his bid to continue his career at Milan, with the Italy striker doing everything in his power –for a whole month- to get away from the Glarosossi, but the end result doesn’t justify him.
And this because Milan could not meet the financial demands of the Romans and withdrew their interest, while Bournemouth, who had made the best offer for the player, the same thing happened as Zaniolo … ended up at the “Olimpico” and the people of the group, to show him that the glass of their relationship has shattered into a thousand pieces.
According to the online edition of “Repubblica”, the club’s management decided to remove his picture from the walls of the “Olimpico” dressing room, as well as his name from the locker in the locker room.
The same outlet reports that management will soon call him to apologize for his recent behavior and are determined to keep him on the bench if he refuses, with Zaniolo in turn giving his next with the lawyers given that Steps plans the tough stance of the administrators.
