Empoli – Juventus 2-3: Things are looking better with goalscorer Vlahovic
Juventus edged Empoli 3-2 in Tuscany thanks to two more goals from Dusan Vlahovic and are now starting to look even better than the Serie A four.
Juventus went through three consecutive 1-1 draws in Italy and Europe to take the lead against Tuscany with a 3-2 win Empoli for the 27th game of Serie A and closing the gap from the top, after back-to-back gels Milan and Inter.
In return, he had to worry in the final minutes whether Dusan Vlahovic’s new goals would prove victorious. The Serbian striker used his speed and two mistakes by the Empoli defense to make it 2-1 and 3-1.
Mons Ken gave the “Bianconeri” an early lead with a header, only to equalize Simon Zurkovski after a mistake in the “old lady’s” defence. Andrea la Mandia’s goal brought something similar as a substitution a few minutes after his pass and drew a lot of interest in the last few minutes. Wojciech Sesni managed to keep his home intact in the final quarter (despite good moments from the hosts) and the ‘three points’ went to the visitors.
