Inter 1-0 Milan: Martines’ triumph in the Derby della Madonnina
Inter won their first Derby della Madonnina after four tries at Serie A level and with a 1-0 win by first-choice goalscorer Lautaro Martinez they continued their pursuit of Napoli and dropped AC Milan from the top four.
The Derby della Madonnina has been axed blue after Inter’s fourth attempt in Serie A and perhaps at the most opportune time. Lukaku and Martines each sent the ball into the net once in the final minutes, but the goals didn’t count due to an offensive foul or a millimeter offside. This did not stop the cheering in the stands and on the pitch, as Inter slipped down to second place.
