Leao liked a post against Pioli but took it back
Rafael Leao was benched for the Inter Milan derby which seemed to bother him as he liked a post against Stefano Pioli but took it back.
Milan are not living their best, suffering a fourth straight defeat and another at Inter Milan, this time for Serie A.
Stefano Pioli benched Rafael Leao in the ‘Derby della Madonnina’ and brought him on as a substitute in the 54th minute, which seemed to anger the Portuguese midfielder. The Italian newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport” wrote about “Pioli’s fiasco” for not having used Leao in the starting XI against Inter.
As usual, the move drew a lot of comment but the Portugal midfielder took it back and the matter is settled, at least for now.
