Small shareholders of Juventus want to pursue Agnelli legally
Fourteen smaller Juventus shareholders have asked the Torino prosecutor to join the investigation into the misstatement case and are considering taking legal action against Andrea Agnelli and the Bianconeri as victims of the case.
The adventures for Juventus and Andrea Agnelli continue as 14 minor shareholders in the Bianconeri’s share capital are very likely to continue, Italian media report.
In particular, the specific shareholders have already contacted the public prosecutor’s office in Turin, in which they express their wish to participate in the investigation into the case of incorrect accounting data as “persons injured or affected”.
The Penal Code in Italy allows people, at the investigation stage, to ask the prosecutor to be kept informed of developments in the investigation. Among the 14 people are a financial adviser and a businessman, as well as some students and retirees.
