Inter’s Bastoni is on Liverpool’s radar
Alessandro Bastoni is being targeted by Jurgen Klopp in a bid to bolster Liverpool’s defensive line, according to Italian reports.
Liverpool are already looking to their summer reinforcements to present a different and vastly improved face compared to this year, which has been lopsided and upside down.
According to gazzetta.it, the Reds have Alessandro Bastoni in their sights and will start negotiations with Inter over the Italian centre-back.
Bastoni, 23, is under contract until 2024 but wants to play in the Premier League and that’s a bargaining chip for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Defense is a ‘wound’ for Liverpool this year and the German manager is keen to put in the right pieces to improve significantly next season.
