Fiorentina – Milan 2-1: The viola beat Menian and took important three points
Fiorentina were superior to AC Milan and after finding a way to beat the superb Mike Megnan they clinched a 2-1 win for Serie A.
THE Florence brake Milan and bend the excellent Mike Menian in “Artemio Franki”. The 2-1 in Florence on Matchday 25 of Serie A, brought the “Violas” back into the fight for Europe and dealt a powerful blow to the “Rossoneri”, who are fighting for a place in the top four.
The game had a good pace and started with the home side creating cracks in the Rossoneri defence. Fikayo Tomori’s tackle on the line prevented Fiorentina from scoring an early goal, but the chances remained and Menian had to show his class.
In the 13th minute, play was stopped for a standing ovation for Davide Astori, the Fiorentina captain (who came through AC Milan’s academy) who died five years ago today, and then resumed, with the home side having the upper hand.
Milan failed to threaten Pietro Terazziano’s goal and justice was served early in the second half when Tomori brought down Jonathan Icone and Nico Gonzalez scored from a penalty to make it 1-0.
This goal woke up the Italian champions, who created the first chances after 15 minutes but didn’t find their way into the net. Entry from Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Divok Origi didn’t help Milan, who saw the violas take the reins again in the final half-hour.
Menian returned to the game but was unable to stop Luka Jovic’s 87th-minute header that sealed the win. The only thing the “Rosoneri” managed to do was reduce in the last phase of the game with Teo Hernandez.

Incredibly, Mourinho, he sang it to Kvaratshelias and was hugging and kissing him within 10 seconds
An incredible scene took place in the first 45 minutes of the Roma-Napoli game in which Jose Mourinho first theatrically cheered Kvaratshelias and then hugged and kissed him within ten seconds.
Incredible scene in Rome – Napoli where Jose Mourinho first chants Quaratschelia and then within ten seconds hugs, kisses and talks to him as if he were his father.
In the 37th minute of the game, the Georgian international earned a foul and a yellow card from his opponent, in a phase that took place in front of Mourinho, who insisted that there was not even a foul.
Afterwards, the Portuguese technician initially shouted at Kvaratshelias, telling him that he was just acting, but as he approached Georgianos, he hugged him, kissed him and began talking to him in a very calm tone while the two men found each other. A little later, the recording showed Mourinho having a very friendly chat with Osimen.
