Two suspensions against Ken for his unbelievable dismissal
Moise Kean came on as a substitute in the 89th minute of the Roma vs Juventus game and went down in history when he was red carded straight away within 40 minutes. The Bianconeri striker received a two-game ban and a €10,000 fine.
With the score 1-0 in favor of Roma from the 53rd minute thanks to Gianluca Mancini’s volley from outside the box (his first goal since 2021), Massimo Allegri decided to throw in his last card, Moise Kean, in the 89th minute though to take care of him within a time that is not… burning.
The 23-year-old striker angrily kicked the Giallorossi goalscorer after the ball and saw the referee direct him to the dressing room in the 90th minute, just 40 seconds after he came on to make Juventus history.
And that’s because he not only received the quickest dismissal in this year’s Serie A, but also climbed onto a unique podium, with his dismissal being the third-fastest ever in the Campeonato, behind Giuseppe Lorenzo of Bologna (at 10” in December 9, 1990) and Giulio Miliazio of Atalanta (at 32” on December 6, 2015).
Of course, after his ejection, which made him… the record holder, it was time for justice, because the sports judge announced the penalties of the 25th match day and also Ken’s announcement on Tuesday (07.03.).
This will mean a two-game ban and a €10,000 fine, with the player automatically eliminated from the upcoming league games of “Veccia Signora” against Sampdoria (12/03, home) and Inter (19/03, away).
According to ‘Stampa’, this won’t be the only penalty imposed on the 23-year-old Italy striker as the Juventus administration appear ready to fine him an additional €20,000.
