Pradelli: My next bench? With my grandchildren in the park
Cesare Pradelli has announced his decision to retire from coaching in an interview, with the former Italy coach also praising Luciano Spalletti for sacking Napoli.
Cesare Pradelli has a coaching career spanning decades but everything indicates the Fiorentina bench he left in March 2021 will be the last of his career.
“The passion for football remains and is great. Offers keep coming, but right now I’m dreaming of a bench to take my grandkids to the park to enjoy my life with.
No more coaching” he emphasized in an interview with the Italian radio station “Radio 1”, with which the former coach of the Italian national team insisted on admiring Luciano Spalletti for his work in Naples.
“Some people seem to be discovering Spalletti’s virtues now. He was always very good. This year they recognized the change they needed to make.
Well done to Spalletti, well done to the club for doing what they did without spending too much money.”
