Lazio 1-0: Jaccani officiated the epic Derby della Capitale

Published

A Mattia Jaccani goal was enough for Lazio to beat Roma 1-0 in a Derby della Capitale marred by incident and tension.

Lazio was also the big winner in the second Derby della Capitale of the season after winning with 1-0 Roma thanks to a goal by Matias Jacani, amidst incidents, tension, spectacle and VAR, for the 27th matchday of Serie A.

The derby started well before half-time, when clashes broke out between fans and the police, and tension spilled over to the “Olympic” both in the stands and on the pitch. There were many hard marks, also protests, with the home team “Lazio” having the ball at their feet trying to create and Jose Mourinho’s players trying to take advantage of every opportunity that came their way.

Ibáñez’s dismissal with an unnecessary second yellow card just 32 minutes into the game was a major factor in the Giallorossi’s stifling attacking talent, which was without Tammy Abraham in the starting XI anyway.

A tussle off the touchline resulted in the dismissal of Marco Ianni from Lazio’s coaching staff and Roma goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos, with play resuming red in the second half.

Luis Alberto’s duels with Rui Patricio always resulted in the Portuguese keeper’s winner until Felipe Anderson Jacani scored in the 62nd minute and Jacani made it 1-0 with the help of a counterattack against Nikola Zalewski.

In the next phase, Niccolò Cazale found the ball after a fumble in Lazio’s penalty area, but the own goal was disallowed after Chris Smalling was flagged for offside early in the period.

That opportunity aside, Lazio had the upper hand for the rest of the game, with good moments for another goal that might not have been found, but the three points pocketed. The match ended with two red cards at the end, Adam Marusic and Brian Christande fighting at 90+7′.

Mourinho: ‘I’m tired of being a coach, a communicator and the one who says we’ve been robbed’

While Jose Mourinho expressed his desire to stay at Roma, he also hinted that he was tired of complaining about refereeing.

Roma failed to win the Europa League, while Sevilla celebrated this trophy after beating 4-1 on penalties (1-1 in regular time and extra time).

In the final, Jose Mourinho complained about Anthony Taylor’s refereeing and kicked him in the parking lot. Speaking to Sky Sports, the special adviser explained that he had a desire to continue at Roma but was tired of the general situation.

“I want to stay at Roma but my players earn more and I earn more. I’m a bit tired of being the manager, the communications man, the face of the club who says we’ve been robbed after every game.” I’m tired of having to deal with all fronts.

Next year we won’t play in the Champions League and that’s a good thing because we weren’t cut out for that.

And let’s hope that (referee) Anthony Taylor only officiates games in the Champions League and makes the same mistakes there as here and not in the Europa League. said the Portuguese coach.

Juventus avoided another point deduction in the second trial due to incorrect accounting data and was fined 718,000 euros.

The second trial against the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) has taken place over incorrect accounting data from Juventus and its relationships with agents and other clubs. The Bianconeri, already penalized with -10 points, escaped a new sporting sanction.

Specifically, they were only fined 718,000 euros. Juventus announced that this has been explained to the court “lawfulness of his actions” and agreed with the FIGC Attorney to put an end to it “State of Instability and Tension” between the two sides.

In fact, Juventus won’t appeal in the end. However, Andrea Agnelli did not want to sign his waiver of his appeal and will therefore appear in court on June 15.

Juventus are also awaiting UEFA’s decision as the Italian side risk being banned from European competitions.

Napoli strongman Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that there have been contacts with Luis Enrique over the managerial position, but also revealed that Premier League teams are a priority for the Spanish manager.

Luciano Spalletti announced that Napoli was closed for this chapter and said goodbye to the team. He announced he would not be on another club’s bench in the new season so he could rest.

Partenopei strongman Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed reports that former Spain coach Luis Enrique is number 1 on the list of possible substitutes.

Speaking to Rai News, he explained that there have been contacts between the two sides but Enrique’s priority is England.

We discussed. He’s a great manager, he performed very well at Barcelona but I think he has the Premier League on his mind. We have to keep in mind that we compete with many leagues that are more attractive than ours, such as the English one.

I can tell him that there is no golf there and that the fog and the food are not such good conditions, and more… that’s a conversation (laughs). “There is a financial problem, there are more attractive resources there,” he said characteristically.
