Chiellini for Dimbala: ‘To follow the example of Messi and me’
Giorgio found a clever way to give Paulo Dybala an extra boost just before the season finale and with his contract extension in the air, citing both his own recent example and that of Messi.
Paulo Dimbala wants to extend his contract with Juventus, but so far the two sides have not found it in financial terms, with the Italian media even estimating that the new postponement of the appointment of Vekia Signiora’s management with his manager (was scheduled for Thursday March 10th) it is an omen… of departure.
None of this seems to affect Giorgio Chiellini, however, as the Biaconeri’s veteran centre-back has been called up by journalists to offer his team-mate advice on how to handle the whole situation, suggesting that he use it alone in the season finale as well.
“I think the most important thing for a player is to focus on the pitch. Lionel Messi won a trophy with Argentina (Copa America) and I with Italy (Euro), both without a contract last summer. .
“These situations are common in modern football. The best thing a player can do is focus on the pitch.” Kielini underscored, with the 37-year-old stopper also touting the chances of a Scudetto held by the Vekia Signio after his impressive demarcation of late.
“It’s true that the fans dream, we have to be realistic and think about each game separately. It’s not that we’re hiding, we just have to be balanced.”
If we get six wins in a row, maybe we can think about the championship, but let’s not forget that a month ago we weren’t even fourth. Everything is still possible.
“If the other teams go wrong and we keep winning, then we’ll think about it first, let the other characters line up.”
