Napoli are close to agreeing a new deal with Kvaratthelia, according to footmercato
Napoli are very close to an agreement with Kvitsa Kvaratthelia, as reported by footmercato. The new contract runs until the summer of 2028.
THE Kvitsa Kvaratshelia makes a very impressive season with the Napoli jersey as they have formed a “deadly duo” together with Victor Osimen that takes the Partenopei to the top of Serie A and the “8” of the Champions League.
The 22-year-old midfielder has attracted the attention of many of Europe’s top sides but Napoli are not standing by and are offering him a new contract which Kvaratthelia is expected to accept.
In a footmercato publication, it is said that the Partenopei intend to offer the Georgian a new contract until the summer of 2028 with his guaranteed income ranging from one million euros to 2.5, while this amount with the bonuses for reaching goals up to four million euros will rise.
His response is expected to be positive as he feels at home in Napoli and is not looking to take the next step in his career anytime soon. They don’t want to include a release clause in the new contract, while they would be open to granting him an amount of at least €100m in the summer of 2024.
The player who currently receives the most money in addition to goal bonuses is Victor Osimen with an amount of almost five million euros.
Kvaratthelia was acquired from Dinamo Batumi for €11m last summer. He has recorded 14 goals and 16 assists in 30 appearances this season.
