Juventus defeated Verona and, with a 1-0 win in Turin, continued to close the ‘scissors’ gap of teams to secure a place in the top four of Serie A.

Juventus’ fifth straight win in all competitions, with 1-0 on her Verona in Turin, the “Bianconeri” are even closer to the teams that claim a place in the top four of Serie A after 28 games.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side made a number of changes in both attack and midfield ahead of their Coppa Italia semi-final clash with Inter Milan, resulting in a one-sided game.

Juventus’ greatest moment of the first half was a cross but in the 55th minute Moises Kehn was on target and scored on his return to the league from suspension to put Massimiliano Allegri’s side ahead.

Despite a weak defensive performance by the hosts, the guests were unable to react and suffered a defeat that brought them even closer to staying up.
