Spalletti and Maldini quarrel in Maradona’s bellows for Leo’s goal celebration
The way Rafael Leao celebrated his first Napoli-Milan goal caused tension at the end of the first half on the way to the dressing room when Luciano Spalletti got involved in an altercation with Paolo Maldini.
Milan swept in “Maradona” on Sunday evening (April 2nd) and led Napoli on their way, finishing with four goals (0:4), although the game was not full of excitement in the final, but at halftime.
Especially at the moment when the players of both teams went to the dressing room at the break, as revealed by the Italian TV channel DANZ, Luciano Spalletti was very irritated with Rafael Leao, how he celebrated his first goal and she approaches him, around him to blame for his behavior.
Then Paolo Maldini came into play and the Milan legend and current sporting director rushed to the Portuguese striker’s defense, telling him:
“Mister you’re angry but you won the championship what the hell do you want.” After mutual explanations between the two men, the misunderstanding ended with Leao, in turn, stressing to the Napoli coach that the reason he celebrated so loudly was not to provoke the Partenopei’s friends, but to respond to the recent bad reviews to react to him.
