Lazio 1-0 Venice: Threesome with a historic first for Imobile

After Ciro Immobile found his way into the net with a penalty and climbed alone to the top of Lazio’s all-time top scorers in the league, the Romans edged Venezia 1-0 to move up to 5th place.

Lazio have been left out of Europe but instead of throwing them off psychologically it seems to have helped them as the Romans have been promoted of late and continue their run of highs in the standings.

Their latest success came on Monday night in the 29th game of Serie A as the Eagles took Venezia 1-0 to the canvas and climbed to 5th place, while Immobile scored and climbed alone to first place Laciali top scorers in the league climbed and surpassed the legendary Silvio Piola.
