Luciano Spalletti rotated in the background ahead of the second leg with AC Milan in Maradona with a ticket to the Champions League semi-finals. Osimen returned to action but that was not enough for the Partenopei to overcome Verona’s obstacle, allowing the two sides to end in a goalless 0-0 draw.

Napoli failed in Serie A matchday 30 with a goalless draw (0-0) in Serie A matchday 30 at the hands of Diego Maradona. This is the first time the Partenopei have failed to win at home since August.

Luciano Spalletti has made changes ahead of next Tuesday’s Champions League clash with AC Milan that may have cost the Italian leaders two points. Napoli were superior for most of the game and had the stages to score but failed to make it.

Osimene returned for Napoli and came on as a substitute. The Nigerian striker also had the greatest moment of the game when his shot from inside the box was blocked by the post.

With this result, Napoli are 75 and have 14 points more than second-placed Lazio Roma. Verona remains below the relegation zone and closes the gap to Spezia to three.
