Immobile suffered broken ribs and spinal cord injuries in the traffic accident
Lazio have updated Ciro Immobile’s condition following his car accident, announcing that he has suffered a fractured rib and spinal cord injury.
Lazio captain Ciro Immobile was involved in a car accident in Rome on Sunday morning (April 16) when the car he was in with his son collided with a tram.
A few hours after the accident, the Italian team went ahead with an announcement to update the 33-year-old’s health status.
As he mentioned, the tests Immobile underwent showed that he was suffering from a complex right rib fracture and spinal injury.
The Lazio captain remains under observation in the emergency room at the hospital in Rome. Agostino Gemelli IRCCS.
