Fiorentina were superior to Atalanta for most of the game but the two sides parted ways in a 1-1 draw at the Artemio Franchi to stay alive in the race for Europe.

Fiorentina’s duel with Atalanta at the Artemio Franchi ended the program of the 30th matchday of Serie A with a 1-1 draw.

The hosts dominated for most of the game but the Bergamaskis luckily took the lead through Mele in the 37th minute, a result that both teams went to the dressing room.

Fiorentina increased their pressure in the second half and equalized in the 56th minute with Cabral’s well-timed penalty. Italiano’s team pushed for a second goal but to no avail.
