The second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals left scars as Napoli lost three players through injury, adding to the disqualification they suffered at the hands of Milan, Luciano Spalletti not counting them against Juventus.

Victor Osimen overcame the injury problem that had plagued him in the past and declared himself present in Napoli’s second bout against Milan for the quarter-final stage of the Champions League, but although he found the net it was not enough for the Partenopei to qualify.

And that’s because Giroud’s first-half goal saw the Nigerian striker level just in injury time. The Rossoneri qualified thanks to a 1-0 win in the first leg of the quarter-finals at the San Siro and the Partenopei now to reflect on the impending conquest of the (historic) scudetto.

With a view to the upcoming game against Juventus Turin (April 23, 9:45 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD, LIVE from Sportish) his pioneer Series A will start with three significant absentees, with Luciano Spalletti missing out on Mario Rui, Politano and Rahmani injured in the Milan game.

The Portuguese left-back has been subjected to tests which revealed a fibula problem, while Politano and Rahmani have both suffered a first degree sprain to their left ankle and the latter a minor right ankle sprain.
