Serie A: Lazio delay Napoli crown, Inter win top-4, Milan and Roma win

Juventus’ victory left Maurizio Sarri’s side no loss in the battle for second place. The hosts were superior and missed chances from the first half, with Felipe Anderson opening the scoring in the 14th minute. The visitors didn’t back down and withstood the onslaught of Lazio, but failed to create danger themselves. ‘Lazio’ lost their rhythm in the 2nd half but ended up making it 2-0 with Toma Basic and clinching the three points that will bring them closer to Champions League elimination.

The Nerazzurri were the only opponents against Lorenzo Modipo and the latter’s failure, but the difference in level between the two teams was huge and when the trigger was provided by an Adolfo Gaits own goal, it never ended.

The clear loser of the game was Milan, who stayed at home 1-1 with the almost relegated Cremonese. Stefano Pioli used the reserves that didn’t qualify him for another game. Alexis Salemachers put the ball in the net early and caused Giuseppe Meazza to explode, but the goal was disallowed by VAR and took a toll on the home side’s psyche.

The dominance of the “Rosoneri” was total, but their aggressive actions were poor. As if that wasn’t enough, one of the visitors’ rare attacks resulted in a goal from David Okereke that shocked the hosts. Milan only equalized in added time through Rade Krunic but fell behind in the battle for the top four.

With her and Roma, who had an away test with her Monza and she also emerged as a tie 1-1. Stephane El Saraoui put Jose Mourinho’s side ahead in the 24th minute, but Luca Caldirola equalized shortly afterwards. The two teams couldn’t differentiate themselves in the 2nd part and although they had several finals, none were threatening, so they were limited to one point. For the “Gialorossi”, o Dimitris Keramitsis sat on the bench.
