Napoli: Fans invaded the stadium to celebrate the title and undressed the players
Thousands of Napoli fans flocked to the pitch after the match against Udinese, which crowned the Italian “Partenopei” champions, in search of a souvenir of the footballers.
Napoli won this year’s Serie A and the first championship in 33 years was celebrated without tomorrow. The Partenopei had around 10,000 fans traveling to Friuli to face Udinese and the referee’s final whistle found several of them on the pitch.
The fans wanted to celebrate this historic moment with the players and didn’t hesitate to get souvenirs. One of the more unfortunate players was Piotr Zielinski, who was left in shorts and underwear as he was surrounded by Napoli friends.
Luciano Spalletti was also targeted by adoring fans but managed to get most of his clothes on before heading to the dressing room.
