Wood between fans on the pitch and police action at Udinese – Napoli
The atmosphere in Friuli was not only solemn, because after the Napoli fans took the field, those from Udinese also came, creating tension between them and the intervening police.
Thanks to the draw with Udinese in Friuli, Napoli also mathematically won the championship after 33 years.
After the final whistle, the Partenopei fans took to the pitch to celebrate this historic success with Luciano Spalletti and his players. However, this was followed by the entry of Udinese’s friends and there the spirits escaped.
Supporters of both teams were caught in the hand and, according to Italian media, police intervention was required to enforce order.
