February was disastrous for Inter (without a Serie A win) but even in March they seem unable to bounce back as Fiorentina managed the new decisive blow to the champion’s body. The Violas more than struggled in Meazza and left the team fairly with a draw that forced Inter to a draw, with Inzaghi’s players counting just one win in their last seven league games and staying -3 against Milan.

Game-wise, the visitors were better in the first half, where they had good moments to score the opener with Gonzalez and Saponara, while Inter, for their part, had a better chance of using Dzeko, who had stopped in Teratsanos.
