Cassano: “Juventus go to the Champions League and screw it up, the same thing happens in Europe”

Antonio Cassano was particularly critical of Juventus after they were eliminated by Sevilla in the Europa League semi-finals, stressing that they had not played a single significant game in the last two years.

Juventus had a chance to salvage the year by redeeming their ticket to the Europa League final and lifting a European trophy for the first time since 2017 (after losing to Real in the Champions League final), but fell short Seville and… bankruptcy.

Although she scored the first goal with Vlahovic in the second leg between the two teams, she was unable to defend the 1-0 lead. Suso and Lamela surprised the sixth-placed Europa League holders and filled the Bianconeri with bitterness.

According to Antonio Cassano, that exclusion was in fact another link in a two-year chain in which Massimo Allegri’s side failed to achieve anything worthwhile, although the veteran striker insisted on blaming the Vecchia Signora coach as well.

“The Andalusians deserved to qualify, they knew how to overcome difficulties and reach the final. From start to finish there was only one team and that was Sevilla.”

Juventus had two counterattacks, two chances from set pieces, they scored and stopped. “Juventus is always like that, they go to the Champions League and they’re like sk@t@, they go to Europe and the same thing happens.” stressed “Fandonio” through an analysis of his fight on his official Instagram account, adding:

“He who reaps wind sows storms, that is the law. You get nothing this season. Now Allegri is putting down others and citing difficulties, but what difficulties?”

“In two years they haven’t played a good game, they look like sc@t@ and they’ve been kicked out of the Europa League.”
