De Laurentiis: “Spalletti told me his cycle at Napoli is over”
Napoli star Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed the departure of Luciano Spalletti from the Partenopei.
Luciano Spalletti led Napoli to an historic triumph by winning their first championship since 1990. However, everything points to a great conclusion to the cycle.
Reports of the 64-year-old Italy coach leaving the Partenopei have been mounting lately, with the side’s strongman Aurelio De Laurentiis giving his testimonies to confirm it.
“Spalletti is a free man. He came to tell me that he did his best here and that a cycle has ended. He told me that he has a contract but would rather rest for a year. Can I appeal? He gave me so much and thanked him” expressly stated.
